Canon 542

Superiors shall take care that they provide willingly members

designated by them, especially in the eparchy in which they

dwell, when their ministry is required by the local hierarch or

the pastor, in order to provide for the needs of the faithful,

both in and outside their own churches, without prejudice to the

character of the institute and to religious discipline.
