The particular law of any Church sui iuris will not establish a

diriment impediment, unless for a most serious reason, after taking the counsel of other eparchial bishops of other Churches sui

iuris to whom it is of interest and after consultation with the

Apostolic See; no lower authority, however, can establish diriment impediments.
