1. In the celebration of ecclesiastical funerals all favoritism

is to be avoided. 2. With due regard for can. 1013, eparchial

bishops insofar as possible are to see that the practice is introduced according to which the offerings on the occasion of an

ecclesiastical funeral be only those which the Christian faithful

offer on their own.
