 6 V  |     which gas was issuing; the spark was seen to pass from the
 7 V  |     not light, but you saw the spark; there is, perhaps, some
 8 V  |    afterward. You see from the spark that I can transfer the
 9 V  | through the air as a brilliant spark. It takes no sensible time
10 V  |       one or two attempts, the spark which came from his finger
11 VI |      ends in contact, when the spark shows us what power is present;
12 VI |       us consider what is this spark. I take these two ends and
13 VI |      there I get this glorious spark like the sunlight in the
14 VI |    power which sends forth the spark; and it is wonderful and
15 VI |      beautiful to see how this spark is carried about through
16 VI |       possible, that this very spark and the heat it produces (
