 9 Praise|        popular odium, to wit, by reason of the great diversity of
10 Praise|    ordered by them, the other by reason; and therefore the Stoics
11 Praise|       are they that for no other reason but that they were weary
12 Praise|         and by how much the less reason they have to live, by so
13 Praise|      call it miserable, I see no reason; forasmuch as we are so
14 Praise|          a bull. For by the same reason he would call the warlike
15 Praise|      sake. Nor do I conceive the reason so difficult, or that it
16 Praise| strangers to truth, and for this reason they avoid those wise men,
17 Praise|        And therefore there is no reason why I should envy the rest
18 Praise|          perceive it? And yet by reason of these fooleries they
19 Praise|        men bashful, which is the reason that those wise men have
20 Praise|  otherwise, perhaps, by the same reason it might as well have extended
21 Praise|           Nor can I give you any reason why it should seem so strange
22 Praise|        so acceptable to God. The reason perhaps may be this, that
23 Praise|        than to be mad? For which reason you must not think it so
