 1 Praise|        Plato’s, “Happy is that commonwealth where a philosopher is prince,
 2 Praise|  princes more pestilent to the commonwealth than where the empire has
 3 Praise|    disturbing the peace of the commonwealth with his hair-brained accusations;
 4 Praise|      no less pernicious to the commonwealth of Rome than was Demosthenes
 5 Praise| admitting him good, he did the commonwealth more hurt in leaving behind
 6 Praise|       live with him in Plato’s commonwealth, the country of ideas, or
 7 Praise|        that then hung over the commonwealth.~Nor was that Grecian in
 8 Praise|        been conversant in that commonwealth most part of their time!
 9 Praise|     the no small damage of the commonwealth of beggars. And yet, like
10 Praise|      are as it were of another commonwealth, no man dares despise, especially
11 Praise|       that charity he owes the commonwealth. All which if a prince should
12 Praise|      the chief commands in the commonwealth, and in a word, flourish
