 1      I,  II |     and Boethius, men of great holiness, every point of his character

 7     IV,  VII|    events the authority of his holiness would insure his safety.
 8      V,  III|   service in it, requested his holiness to consecrate it. To this
 9      V,  IV |    pontiff, imagining that his holiness could not injure him, and
10      V,  IV | himself sole ruler: but if his holiness pleased, of the two principal
11      V,  IV |        he had only done as his holiness deserved, for having unblushingly
12   VIII,  V  |       who was quite a boy, his holiness thought might be easily
13   VIII,  VII|      not his own. However, his holiness did not succeed with them;
