Chapter

 1 7 |   were sent to you, which you accepted; and when you were in Hsieh,
 2 7 |      sent, which you likewise accepted. If your declining to accept

 4 14| Tsang-tsze served his, may be accepted as flial piety.'~Mencius
 5 18|    Shun to Heaven, and Heaven accepted him. He presented him to
 6 18|    the people, and the people accepted him. Therefore I say, "Heaven
 7 18|    Shun to Heaven, and Heaven accepted him; and that he exhibited
 8 18|    the people, and the people accepted him.' Mencius replied, '
 9 18|     with them; -- thus Heaven accepted him. He caused him to preside
10 18|       him; -- thus the people accepted him. Heaven gave the throne
