Chapter

1 1 | brothers, and, abroad, their elders and superiors, -- you will
2 2 |     reverence due to age the elders in your own family, so that
3 2 |      own family, so that the elders in the families of others
4 11|    abroad, respectful to his elders; who watches over the principles
5 14|  show the due respect to his elders, the whole land would enjoy
6 23|   slowly, keeping behind his elders, is to perform the part
7 23|      quickly and precede his elders, is to violate the duty
8 25|     benevolence. Respect for elders is the working of righteousness.
9 26|    filial, obedient to their elders, true-hearted, and faithful.
