Part, Sura

  1  I,       II|            and for them is grievous woe. And there are those among
  2  I,       II|            and for them is grievous woe because they lied. [10]
  3  I,       II|        sought to wreak you evil and woe, slaughtering your sons
  4  I,       II|          for they do but fancy. But woe to those who write out the
  5  I,       II|       therewith a little price! and woe to them for what their hands
  6  I,       II|             hands have written, and woe to them for what they gain!~ ~
  7  I,       II|      misbelievers is there shameful woe.~ ~[85] And when they are
  8  I,       II|      misbelievers shall be grievous woe.~ ~They who misbelieve,
  9  I,       II|            and in the future mighty woe.~ ~God's is the east and
 10  I,       II|            but for them is grievous woe.~ ~[170] They who sell guidance
 11  I,       II|            that for him is grievous woe.~ ~[175] For you in retaliation
 12  I,      III|            glad tidings of grievous woe! These are they whose works
 13  I,      III|            but for them is grievous woe.~ ~And, verily, amongst
 14  I,      III|        ransom. For them is grievous woe, and helpers have they none.~ ~
 15  I,      III|           signs; for them is mighty woe, on the day when faces shall
 16  I,      III|              but for them is mighty woe.~ ~Verily, those who purchase
 17  I,      III|            and for them is grievous woe.~ ~Let not those who misbelieve
 18  I,      III|            And for them is shameful woe. God would not leave believers
 19  I,      III|             they are in safety from woe,-for them is grievous woe!~ ~
 20  I,      III|           woe,-for them is grievous woe!~ ~God's is the kingdom
 21  I,       IV|             and for him is shameful woe.~ ~Against those of your
 22  I,       IV|         have we prepared a grievous woe.~ ~O ye who believe! it
 23  I,       IV|           the misbelievers shameful woe.~ ~And those who expend
 24  I,       IV|            prepare for him a mighty woe.~ ~O ye who believe! when
 25  I,       IV|           who misbelieve a shameful woe.~ ~But when ye have fulfilled
 26  I,       IV|           that for them is grievous woe!~ ~Those who take the misbelievers
 27  I,       IV|           for misbelievers shameful woe! But those who believe in
 28  I,       IV|           who misbelieve a grievous woe.~ ~[160] But those amongst
 29  I,       IV|         punish them with a grievous woe, and they shall not find
 30  I,        V|          them in the next is mighty woe; save for those who repent
 31  I,        V|            but for them is grievous woe. They may wish to go forth
 32  I,        V|      therefrom, for them is lasting woe.~ ~The man thief and the
 33  I,        V|          them in the next is mighty woe,-listeners to a lie, eaters
 34  I,        V|    misbelieve amongst them grievous woe.~ ~Will they not turn again
 35  I,        V|           that, for him is grievous woe.~ ~O ye who believe! kill
 36  I,       VI|       suddenly upon them they say, 'Woe is us for our neglect thereof!'
 37  I,       VI|         boiling water, and grievous woe for that they. have misbelieved.~ ~[
 38  I,      VII|          will overtake you grievous woe. And remember how he made
 39  I,      VII|         people who wrought you evil woe, killing your sons, and
 40  I,     VIII|         heaven or bring us grievous woe!'~ ~But God would not torment
 41  I,       IX|            glad tidings of grievous woe!-Except to those of the
 42  I,       IX|            glad tidings of grievous woe! [35] On the day when it
 43  I,       IX|            punish you with grievous woe, and will put in your stead
 44  I,       IX|            theirs shall be enduring woe.~ ~[70] Ye are like those
 45  I,       IX|            torment them with mighty woe in this world and in the
 46  I,       IX|            and for them is grievous woe!~ ~Ask forgiveness for them
 47  I,       IX|           who misbelieved, a mighty woe. For the weak, and the sick,
 48  I,       IX|             be sent off into mighty woe.~ ~And others have confessed
 49  I,        X|         boiling water, and grievous woe, for that they did misbelieve.~ ~[
 50  I,        X|             until they see grievous woe!' He said, 'Your prayer
 51  I,        X|         until they see the grievous woe. Were it not so, a city
 52  I,       XI|         touch them from us grievous woe.' These are stories of the
 53  I,      XII|        grief, for he repressed (his woe).~ ~[85] They said, 'By
 54  I,      XIV|            sought to wreak you evil woe, slaughtering your sons
 55  I,      XIV|        behind him shall be rigorous woe!~ ~The likeness of those
 56  I,      XIV|   wrong-doers, for them is grievous woe!'~ ~But I will cause those
 57  I,       XV|          merciful; [50] and that my woe is the grievous woe.~ ~And
 58  I,       XV|         that my woe is the grievous woe.~ ~And inform them concerning
 59  I,      XVI|            and for them is grievous woe!~ ~ ./. We have only sent
 60  I,      XVI|             for you there be mighty woe!~ ~And sell not God's covenant
 61  I,      XVI|            and for them is grievous woe.~ ~ ./. Only they are the
 62  I,      XVI|              and for them is mighty woe!~ ~That is because they
 63  I,      XVI| enjoyment-then for them is grievous woe!~ ~For those who are Jews
 64 II,     XVII|           we have prepared a mighty woe.~ ~Man prays for evil as
 65 II,      XIX|             amongst themselves, but woe to those who disbelieve,
 66 II,       XX|                Said Moses to them, 'Woe to you! do not forge against
 67 II,      XXI|          questioned.' Said they, 'O woe is us! verily, we were wrong-doers.'~ ~[
 68 II,      XXI|            and lo! it vanishes, but woe to you for what ye attribute (
 69 II,      XXI|           they will surely say, 'O, woe is us! verily, we were wrong-doers!'~ ~
 70 II,      XXI|            those who misbelieve! O, woe is us! we were heedless
 71 II,     XXII|             make him taste grievous woe.~ ~ ./. And when we established
 72 II,     XXII|          these-for them is shameful woe.~ ~And those who flee in
 73 II,     XXIV|     aggravate it, for him is mighty woe 2.~ ~Why did not, when ye
 74 II,     XXIV|            ye spread abroad, mighty woe. When ye reported it with
 75 II,     XXIV|       believe, for them is grievous woe in this world and the next;
 76 II,     XXIV|              and for them is mighty woe. The day when their tongues
 77 II,     XXIV|          there befall them grievous woe. Ay, God's is what is in
 78 II,      XXV|         with the Apostle 3! [30] O, woe is me! would that I had~ ~ ./. 
 79 II,      XXV|           for the unjust a grievous woe.~ ~[40] And 'Âd and Thamûd
 80 II,     XXVI|         until they see the grievous woe! and it shall come to them
 81 II,   XXVIII|         been given knowledge said, 'Woe to you! the reward of God
 82 II,     XXIX|         these, for them is grievous woe.~ ~But the answer of his
 83 II,     XXXI|                    them is shameful woe! And when our signs are
 84 II,     XXXI|            glad tidings of grievous woe!~ ~Verily, those who believe
 85 II,     XXXI|         will force them to rigorous woe!~ ~ ./. And if thou shouldst
 86 II,   XXXIII|           who misbelieve a grievous woe.~ ~O ye who believe! remember
 87 II,   XXXIII|           prepare for them shameful woe!~ ~And those who annoy the
 88 II,    XXXVI|        touch you from us a grievous woe.'~ ~Said they, 'Your augury
 89 II,    XXXVI|          out!~ ~They shall say, 'O, woe is us! who has raised us
 90 II,   XXXVII|             and for them is lasting woe; [10] save such as snatches
 91 II,   XXXVII|             and they shall say, 'O, woe is us! this is the day of
 92 II,   XXXVII|          going to taste of grievous woe, nor shall ye be rewarded
 93 II,  XXXVIII|          misbelieved did think, but woe from the fire to those who
 94 II,    XXXIX|             from his Lord . . ? And woe to those whose hearts are
 95 II,       XL|         closed in upon Pharaoh evil woe.~ ~The fire-they shall be
 96 II,      XLI|             forgiveness of Him; and woe to the idolaters, who give
 97 II,     XLII|        unjust,-for them is grievous woe. Thou shalt see the unjust
 98 II,     XLII|          these-for them is grievous woe.~ ~But surely he who is
 99 II,    XLIII|             amongst themselves; and woe to those who are unjust
100 II,     XLIV|             of Israel from shameful woe! - [30]-from Pharaoh; verily,
101 II,      XLV|          signs will they believe?~ ~Woe to every sinful liar who
102 II,      XLV|         These,-for them is shameful woe, behind them is hell, and
103 II,      XLV|              and for them is mighty woe.~ ~[10] This is a guidance,
104 II,     XLVI|           both cry to God for help. Woe to thee! Believe! Verily,
105 II,     XLVI|           deliver you from grievous woe.'~ ~And whoso responds not
106 II,   XLVIII|           torment you with grievous woe!'~ ~There is no compulsion
107 II,   XLVIII|          will torment with grievous woe.~ ~God was well pleased
108 II,   XLVIII|           misbelieved with grievous woe.~ ~When those who misbelieved
109 II,       LI|         those who fear the grievous woe.~ ~And in Moses; when we
110 II,       LI|           not hurry Me!~ ~[60] Then woe to those who misbelieve
111 II,      LII|    mountains shall move about,-then woe upon that day to those who
112 II,     LVII|           the hereafter is a severe woe, [20] and forgiveness from
113 II,    LVIII|            misbelievers is grievous woe!~ ~Verily, those who oppose
114 II,    LVIII|            misbelievers is shameful woe on the day when God shall
115 II,    LVIII|            and for them is shameful woe!~ ~ ./. Their wealth shall
116 II,      LIX|            and for them is grievous woe.~ ~Like unto the devil when
117 II,      LXI|         will save you from grievous woe?~ ~To believe in God and
118 II,     LXIV|           and for them was grievous woe?~ ~That is because their
119 II,   LXVIII|       mutual blame.~ ~Said they, 'O woe to us! verily, we have been
120 II,   LXXIII|             that chokes, and mighty woe!~ ~On the day when the earth
121 II,     LXXV|          haughtily-woe to thee, and woe to thee! again woe to thee,
122 II,     LXXV|              and woe to thee! again woe to thee, and woe to thee!~ ~
123 II,     LXXV|              again woe to thee, and woe to thee!~ ~Does man think
124 II,    LXXVI|        prepared for them a grievous woe!~ ~ ~ ~
125 II,   LXXVII|             the decision is?~ ~[15] Woe on that day for those who
126 II,   LXXVII|           do we with the sinners.~ ~Woe on that day for those who
127 II,   LXXVII|           able and well able too!~ ~Woe on that day for those who
128 II,   LXXVII|           drink water in streams?~ ~Woe on that day for those who
129 II,   LXXVII|          they were yellow camels!~ ~Woe on that day for those who
130 II,   LXXVII|             to excuse themselves!~ ~Woe on that day for those who
131 II,   LXXVII|     stratagem employ it now!~ ~[40] Woe on that day for those who
132 II,   LXXVII|           those who do well.~ ~[45] Woe on that day for those who
133 II,   LXXVII|          verily, ye are sinners!'~ ~Woe on that day for those who
134 II,   LXXVII|          down, they bow not down.~ ~Woe on that day for those who
135 II,  LXXXIII|            and compassionate God.~ ~Woe to those who give short
136 II,  LXXXIII|            a book inscribed!~ ~[10] Woe on that day for those who
137 II,   LXXXIV|            glad tidings of grievous woe! [25] save those who believe
138 II,      CIV|            and compassionate God.~ ~Woe to every slanderous backbiter,
