1 I| Quinquagesima signifieth the time of remission. The Quadragesima signifieth
2 I| Quinquagesima signifieth the time of remission and of penance, in which
3 I| fiftieth year was the year of remission, for then the debts were
4 I| not to us only the time of remission, but also the state of the
5 I| manners. That is to wit in remission of sin, in gifts of grace,
6 I| remuneration perdurable, and the remission of sins. It appeareth of
7 I| of the Holy Ghost is the remission of sins, as saith the gloss.
8 II| for him, and gat for him remission of his sins and forgiveness,
9 II| that he impetre and get us remission of our sins, that after
10 III| and impetre and get of him remission of all our sins, and after
11 III| may impetre and get to us remission of all our sins, and after
12 IV| year of jubilee, that is of remission. For, of ancient time, the
13 IV| the jubilee of pardon and remission, and is yet used among religious
14 IV| he is pardoned and hath remission of many observances that
15 IV| may deserve to have plain remission and forgiveness of all their
16 V| Rocke obtained of him full remission of sin. Then the cardinal
17 V| prayer that I shall have remission and forgiveness of my sins.
18 VI| preach ye to the caitiffs the remission of sins. And in the fifth
19 VI| the part of the martyrs is remission of all sins, heaping and
20 VI| it shall suffice to the remission of his sin; if it be less,
21 VII| contrition, confession, and remission of all their sins. And also
22 VII| to him knowledge of the remission of his sins. From thence
23 VII| certified and ensured of the remission and pardon of all his sins,
24 VII| about him, that he may have remission of his sins, and fourthly,
25 VII| you and for my people in remission of your sins. And as many
26 VII| article is to believe the remission of sins that God giveth
