II| He answered: The host of Israel is overthrown and fled tofore
II| an old man and had judged Israel forty years. Then the Philistines

II| Israel. ~Samuel then governed Israel long, and when he was old
II| he set his sons judges on Israel, whose names were Joel and
II| birth of the children of Israel, and came to Samuel and
II| among all the children of Israel, and he was higher of stature
II| Samuel anointed him king upon Israel, and said to him: Our Lord
II| Saul made the first king in Israel, and anon had much war,
II| warred on the children of Israel, and he defended them, and
II| ordained Saul king upon Israel, for he hath forsaken me,

II| and cried against them of Israel, and said they should choose
II| Philistines should be servants to Israel, and if he prevailed and
II| overcame his enemy, they of Israel should serve the Philistines,
II| Saul and the children of Israel were sore afraid. David
II| that thou shalt reign in Israel. I pray thee to be friendly
II| his house in Rama. And all Israel bewailed him greatly. Then
II| there is none like thee in Israel? why hast thou not therefore
II| assembled much people against Israel. And Saul assembled all
II| And Saul assembled all Israel and came unto Gilboa; and

II| great battle, and the men of Israel fled from the face of the

II| seeing that the men of Israel fled, and that Saul and
II| which was first king upon Israel, and for disobedience of

II| and wait on him as king of Israel. When David heard this he
II| tofore the king, and they of Israel that had been with Absalom
II| him number the people of Israel, and so Joab walked through
II| through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan to Beersheba,
II| and there were founder in Israel eight hundred thousand strong

II| foundament, which the masons of Israel and masons of Hiram hewed,
II| greatest of birth of them of Israel, with the princes of the
II| throne of thy reign upon Israel evermore, like as I have
II| from the reign and seat of Israel. If ye avert and turn from
II| them, I shall cast away Israel from the face of the earth
II| thee upon the throne of Israel, for so much as God of Israel
II| Israel, for so much as God of Israel loveth thee and hath ordained

II| young men, the ten tribes of Israel forsook him, and departed
II| and ordained him king upon Israel. Anon after this, Jeroboam

II| calves that Jeroboam, King of Israel had made, this Tobit only
II| worshipped the Lord God of Israel, offering truly his first
II| loved not, the children of Israel. And Tobit went unto all
II| many of the children of Israel, and Tobit always buried
II| that one of the children of Israel was slain and lay dead in
II| and joy. Thy name, God of Israel be blessed, world without

II| of the Assyrians, and all Israel shall be put into ruin and
II| in the hands of them of Israel. And so they took Achior
II| their lord. Then the sons of Israel coming down from Bethulia
II| be delivered unto them of Israel. Then all the people fell
II| the meekness of them of Israel, and take heed to the faces
II| the feasts of the house of Israel. She was a fair and her
II| all. And the children of Israel shall be yielded to thee,
II| shalt have all the people of Israel under thee, as the sheep

II| secretly, saying: O Lord God of Israel, conform me in this hour
II| said: Confirm me God of Israel in this hour, and smote
II| hath done great virtue in Israel. And anon when they heard
II| promised to the house of Israel, and hath slain in my hand
II| the virtue of the God of Israel, left his old heathen's
II| himself to the people of Israel, and all succession of his
II| valleys. And the sons of Israel, seeing them fleeing, followed
II| the cities and regions of Israel, and they sent after all
II| the uttermost coasts of Israel. The other men soothly,
