1 I| Testament. The old order giveth place to the new. ~
2 I| their judge and him that giveth life to all men, whom they
3 I| other? But he saith, that giveth this solution, that in that
4 I| sender. First, as he that giveth being in his substance,
5 I| and in this manner the sun giveth his rays or beams. Secondly,
6 I| it. Thirdly, to him that giveth his jurisdiction to another,
7 I| notwithstanding himself giveth and sendeth him. The which
8 I| Ghost is God, therefore he giveth himself. And that this is
9 I| the Holy Ghost is he that giveth life. Fourthly, he was showed
10 I| that the place where he is giveth no sound, like a tun of
11 I| presidents and judges, for he giveth authority for to pardon
12 I| them-that will repent them. He giveth also wisdom for to deem
13 I| judge and deem truly. He giveth also debonairty and sweetness
14 I| govern. ~The Holy Ghost giveth also adornment of holiness
15 I| And thus the spirit of man giveth not life to the members
16 I| likewise the Holy Ghost giveth not spiritual life but to
17 I| said, Spirit because he giveth life. Also he saith Holy,
18 I| above nature, when the stone giveth water which he may not by
19 I| these things the church giveth thanks to God at this hour.
20 I| Ecclesiasticus: Orison of humility giveth to God sweet savour when

46 VI| health. Our Lord Jesu Christ giveth unto relics of his saints
47 VI| of pains and of sins, he giveth pain sufficient in such
48 VI| him, saying: This bishop giveth to us no mass, and yet he
49 VI| unpurveyed. And because God giveth many benefits to men not
50 VII| precious stone to sell, which giveth sight to blind men, and
