 1 Text|         He was twenty-four years old when he entered the monastery;

 5 Text|          rulers; saw himself now old and full of days, and unfit
 6 Text|    desired; whilst he was in his old age devoutly returning to
 7 Text|     though worn out with extreme old age, and already almost
 8 Text|        and also the bones of his old preceptor, Abbot Sigfrid,
 9 Text|         of the holy Apostles, of old age and weakness. For he
10 Text|  Ceolfrid was seventy-four years old when he died: forty seven
11 Text| discipline from any occasions of old age, illness, or travel;
