 1    I|          fine, ~Ye husbandmen; in winter’s dust the crops~Exceedingly
 2    I|          to the verge of tameless winter’s showers~With barley: then,
 3    I|          long late watches out~By winter fire-light, shaping with
 4    I|       plough strip, strip to sow;~Winter’s the lazy time for husbandmen.~
 5    I| interchange of festal cheer.~Boon winter bids them, and unbinds their
 6    I|         toss it skyward: so might winter’s flaw,~Dark-eddying, whirl
 7    I|           anigh the utmost end~Of winter, and when Spring begins
 8   II|            breath.~Then ice-bound winter locks the fields, nor lets~
 9   II|      loads, and bursts the barns.~Winter is come: in olive-mills
10  III|        blast, to face the suns~Of winter, when Aquarius’ icy beam~
11  III|        lock your hay-loft all the winter long.~But when glad summer
12  III|           lies featureless:~Still winter? still the north wind’s
13  III|          sprinkle, and lay by for winter use.~Nor be thy dogs last
14  III|     probed them to the quick,~And winter stark with hoar-frost, or
15   IV|     strait of entrance; for stiff winter’s cold~Congeals the honey,
16   IV|           the golden sun has put ~Winter to headlong flight beneath
17   IV|     fruits in autumn; and ere yet~Winter had ceased in sullen ire
18   IV|          you dread~Too rigorous a winter, and would fain~Temper the
19   IV|        twilight-hour~Or storms of winter chase them from the hills;~
