 1    I|     crumbling clod, even then ’tis time;~Press deep your plough
 2    I|    bedews the world. By nighttis best~To reap light stubble,
 3    I|        her fourth rising, for ’tis that~Gives surest counsel,
 4   II|    thou~Of fruits and heroes; ’tis for thee I dare~Unseal the
 5   II|  ground again, and bitter, as ’tis called-Barren for fruits,
 6   II|      Whether on hill or plaintis best to plant~Your vineyard
 7   II|       the conflagration. When ’tis so,~Their root-force fails
 8   II|      we have travelled oer; ~’Tis time our steaming horses
 9  III|        Will offer gifts. Even ’tis present joy~To lead the
10  III|      lawns~Unsullied seek we; ’tis thy hard behest,~Maecenas.
11  III|   since in the noontide heats~’Tis most persistent, fend thy
12  III|  choice be set.~Ay, therefore ’tis they banish bulls afar~To
13  III|   thirsty fever are consumed, ’tis good~To draw the enkindled
14   IV|      mark them well;~For then ’tis ever the fresh springs they
