1   II| heaven;~Now will I sing thee, Bacchus, and, with thee,~The forest’
2   II|  shore~Myrtles throng gayest; Bacchus, lastly, loves~The bare
3   II|       and the Massic juice~Of Bacchus fill its borders, overspread~
4   II|    For no offence but this to Bacchus bleeds~The goat at every
5   II|       Thee with glad hymns, O Bacchus, and to thee~Hang puppet-faces
6   II|     comely head.~Therefore to Bacchus duly will we sing~Meet honour
7   II|       What of like praise can Bacchusgifts afford?~Nay, Bacchus
8   II|   Bacchus’ gifts afford?~Nay, Bacchus even to crime hath prompted,
9  III|       of the spotted ounce to Bacchus dear,~Or warlike wolf-kin
