1    I|     close encounter, and rakes smooth~The dry dust hillocks, then
2    I|        roller must be levelled smooth,~And wrought by hand, and
3   II|   again, and stamp the surface smooth.~If it suffice not, loose
4   II|     vineyard’s midst,~Then too smooth reeds and shafts of whittled
