1    I|      Lest the scant moisture fail the barren sand.~Then thou
2    I|    now the awful groves ‘gan fail to bear~Acorns and arbutes,
3   II|    nor grass the flocks will fail,~And all the day-long browsing
4  III| water, that his strength~Not fail him for that labour of delight,~
5  III|   plain:~But see! his flanks fail under him, his eyes~Are
6   IV|     But if one’s whole stock fail him at a stroke, ~Nor hath
