 1     I|       in noblest wise~'Gainst Persian knights and many a valiant
 2     I|    When Christian swords with Persian blood were dyed,~The furious
 3  VIII|  valiant knight,~That all the Persian armies had to guide,~And
 4    IX| victorious host~That slew the Persian lords, and Nice hath won:~
 5  XVII|       placed in the wide~Huge Persian Bay, a town rich, fair,
 6   XIX|  shoot and fight,~But yet the Persian army doth abound~With many
 7    XX|       stand,~With African and Persian kings with him,~And two
 8    XX|           XXXIX~By this brave Persian's valor, killed and slain~
 9    XX|       was past~Where the bold Persian fought and combated,~Where
10    XX|      From shameful flight his Persian host to stay,~That was discomfit
