Most Reverend Excellency:

Easter Monday Father Pietro Bandini gave me a letter from Your Most Reverend Excellency and on that same occasion I had the pleasure of seeing the Sisters of St. Anne with Fr. Zaboglio. Being very pleased with the work of the Missionaries from Piacenza, I must protect and promote their activities and I shall do my best for the welfare of the Italian colony.

            I thank you for your congratulations regarding my report on the teaching of the Catechism and for the honor you give me by publishing it in your periodical. When I receive that issue I will keep my promise of sending a second article or rather the completion of the first. I send regards and embracing you, I remain
