3. Sarto to Scalabrini³

January 24, 1893

To the Most venerated Giovanni Battista Scalabrini Bishop of Piacenza, Giuseppe Sarto, Bishop of Mantua, kisses with reverence the Sacred Ring and promises to warmly recommend, through the Lent Preachers and the Pastors of the Diocese, the Congregation of the Missionaries for Migrants and the Institute that prepares them for this generous apostolate.
