 1 2 |       night, repeating with great love and fervour the words, "

 7 3 |        begged his friend, for the love of God, to convey him in
 8 4 |          give us shelter, for the love of God, and if he come out
 9 4 |       which we would share out of love for him, write, O Brother
10 4 |       accepting willingly, out of love for Christ, all suffering,
11 1 |           and St Paul to make him love holy poverty greatly, and
12 1 |       begging their bread for the love of God. St Francis took
13 1 |          us beg of God to make us love with all our hearts the
14 1 |           and burning with divine love, to his companion, he said
15 1 |       souls who are inflamed with love of him to fly up to heaven;
16 3 |    witness to the divine flame of love which consumed the souls
17 6 |          their own conscience, to love, to observe, and to practise
18 6 |            and with what singular love he loves his poor servants,
19 7 |         this church; and, for the love of God and of me his poor
20 7 |           away filled with divine love, and gave up the world.

25 5 |         he lost all the faith and love he had felt for St Francis

27 6 |           commandments of God and love the Lord and thy neighbour,
28 8 |            was so inflamed with a love and desire of this virtue
29 10|         and many outward signs of love and charity, as if a long
30 13|       saint felt himself drawn to love him greatly; for he considered
31 13|       temporal riches, and out of love to God, who gave them to
32 13| extinguisheth hatred and kindleth love. I have discovered in this
33 14|            I implore thee, by the love of Christ Jesus, not to
34 14|          and entreat him, for the love of God and of St Francis
35 14|         on Brother Elias, for the love of Christ and of St Francis
36 17|          divine things and of the love of Christ in so elevated
37 17|      conversing sweetly on divine love. When morning dawned they
38 17|           was so overflowing with love, that he was often obliged
39 17|        was so burning with divine love that his bodily senses were
40 17|        the burning coal of divine love - that is to say, Brother
41 17|  henceforth was inflamed with the love of God and of his neighbours.
42 18|        faithful servant of divine love, and pious protector of
43 18|           and burning with divine love and inexpressible consolation.
44 18|       henceforth so great was the love which existed between these
45 19|      brothers begged him, for the love of God and of holy charity,

57 28|           placed all his hope and love in God, the divine bounty
58 28|        filled his heart with such love to Christ, who had humbled
59 28|    burning furnace; and the great love which consumed his heart
60 28|         one God, and the infinite love which made the Son of God
61 29|           food for our souls, the love of sweet Jesus so filled
62 29|          heart so overflowed with love to Christ, and the sensation
63 29|           the sensation of ardent love towards God so increased
64 29|           and begged him, for the love of God, to tell me everything.
