Chapter

1 1 |         Brother Silvester held converse with God, like one friend
2 3 |  Bernard being that of holding converse with God Almighty, of which
3 IV|     Elias made him unworthy to converse with an angel. In the meantime
4 6 | discernment, who held frequent converse with God; for which reason
5 1 |     still on earth, is able to converse with the angels in heaven.
6 4 |         and very often he held converse with the Lord; so that St
7 4 |  willingly and frequently held converse with him day and night;
