 1    2, 73  |               Then had our lances pierc’d the treach’rous
 2    2, 989 | Grecian darts and shock of lances bore,~
 3    3, 66  |              Here loads of lances, in my blood embrued,~
 4    6, 887 |                      Their lances fix’d in earth, their steeds
 5    6, 1048|              Their weighty lances, and sustain the shield!~
 6   10, 1009|      And shakes a grove of lances from his side:~
 7   11, 16  |     Truncheons of shiver’d lances hung between;~
 8   11, 138 |              The pikes and lances trail along the ground.~
 9   11, 301 |               And shiver’d lances gather’d from the plain.~
