 1    4, 152|                 And such alliance and such gifts refuse,~
 2    7, 323|                  Oft our alliance other lands desir’d,~
 3    7, 361|        And, if my wish’d alliance please your king,~
 4    7, 438|      With blood the dear alliance shall be bought,~
 5    7, 769| A bloody Hymen shall th’ alliance join~
 6    9, 815| threat you war? thus our alliance force?~
 7   10, 161|                In wish’d alliance with the Latian line;~
 8   11, 196|                 And seek alliance in some other land:~
 9   11, 251|           Nor grudge th’ alliance I so gladly made.~
10   11, 353|                 Some new alliance must elsewhere be sought,~
11   11, 452|              Refus’d th’ alliance, and advis’d a truce.”~
