 1 I, 7 |     unjustly. For man merited punishment, and there was no more suitable
 2 I, 7 |    sin. But the infliction of punishment was nothing meritorious
 3 I, 7 |     justly demand sin and the punishment of sin, of man, before Christ
 4 I, 7 |     power to avoid sin or the punishment of sin; for the spirit is

 7 I, 4 |    honor of God exists in the punishment of the wicked. ~Boso. But
 8 I, 4 |     hear from you whether the punishment of the sinner is an honor

15 I, 4 |      to take away from man by punishment, even against man's will,
16 I, 4 | restore freely, He abates the punishment and makes man happy on account
17 I, 4 |      which allows nothing but punishment as the recompense of sin.
18 II, 9|   image of God. Wherefore the punishment or pardon of guilt is with
19 II, 9|   deserved nothing of him but punishment, gave so precious a life,
20 II, 0|      nothing to the devil but punishment, so man must only make amends
