 1 I, 2 |      this thing with you, out of love and pious zeal, I will try
 2 I, 3 |         shown his more exceeding love and tenderness towards us.
 3 I, 6 |           and thus has shown his love towards us, and that he
 4 I, 6 |  manifested the greatness of his love towards us; they answer:
 5 I, 6 |          for him to manifest his love in this way. But now, when
 6 I, 6 |       the sake of displaying his love, he does and suffers the
 7 I, 7 |        he was not led to it by a love of justice, but urged on
 8 I, 0 |         honor God, when, for his love and fear, in heartfelt contrition
 9 I, 0 |      state, there should be such love and such desire of attaining
10 I, 0 |         a thing which you do not love and desire for its own sake,
11 I, 0 | Christian faith, "which works by love," that I may be saved, and
12 II, 1|          hate and shun evil, and love and choose good, and especially
13 II, 1|   created for this end, viz., to love and choose the highest good
14 II, 1|      holy in order to choose and love the highest good, then it
15 II, 1|      then in vain was it made to love and choose holiness; and
16 II, 3|          thing which he does not love, then there can be no good
17 II, 6|       with the king, and so deep love for us, as to be both able
18 II, 1|          debt, if given with the love which he deserves.~ ~
