  7 42|         offspring is always in the father. For, if the maternal cause
  8 42|         that the supreme Spirit is Father of his offspring. But, if
  9 42|            is always more like the father than is the daughter, while
 10 42|           is more like the supreme Father than his offspring; then
 11 42|           so the one is most truly Father, and the other most truly
 12 43|          the begotten, and one the Father, the other the Son; yet,
 13 43|           the begotten is, nor the Father any other than the Son.~
 14 43|           in such a way is one the Father and the other the Son, that
 15 43|       identical is that which both Father and Son are, that I do not
 16 43|          spoken.~For, although the Father separately is the perfectly
 17 43|           the same being, that the Father and the Son are not two
 18 43|       fathers or two sons, but one Father and one Son, since separate
 19 43|    although it belongs both to the Father, taken separately, and to
 20 43|           fact that the one is the Father and the other the Son, that
 21 43|            other the Son, that the Father is never called the Son,
 22 43|           the Son, nor the Son the Father; and they are so identical,
 23 43|          of the Son is ever in the Father, and the essence of the
 24 43|             and the essence of the Father in the Son.~ ~

 31 44|         born of the essence of the Father, and a wisdom born of the
 32 44|          born of the wisdom of the Father; but he would be a less
 33 44|        deriving existence from his Father. For, as the Father has

135 58|         wisdom and virtue with the Father; so it may be conceived
136 58|     essence or wisdom or virtue of Father and Son, since it has altogether
137 59|                   CHAPTER LIX.~The Father and the Son and their Spirit
