1 Primit| of Isé and Idzumo. - The temple of Isé is the shrine of
2 Primit| Isé, in Central Japan. The temple of Idzumo is the shrine
3 Primit| to rise at night from the temple of Isé, and, in the storm
4 Asuka | a monastery, called the "Temple of the White Horse," and
5 Asuka | opposite bank is a little temple called Kosanji. The site
6 Asuka | on the site of the Asuka temple, which history reports to~
7 Asuka | entering the door of that great temple, and this taxed the ingenuity
8 Asuka | Luckily for us, the Horinji temple near Nara was built close
9 Asuka | of Yumedono in the same temple. From these two we can judge
10 Asuka | attached to the same Horinji temple. This statue, which is believed~
11 Asuka | preserved to us in the same temple under the name of the "Four
12 Nara | Yakshi trinity of the same temple thirty years later, undoubtedly
13 Heian | Manasara. In erecting a temple, for instance, the acharya,
14 Heian | whole arrangement of~the temple, were all made expressive
15 Heian | handed down in the Toji temple of Kyoto, amongst its priceless
16 Heian | now extant in the Zhingoji temple near Kyoto. Another, the
