 3   2|          for news of the promised King who had been born. They
 4   3|           of Israel foretelling a King who would be intimately
 5   3|     intimately united with God, a King who would restore order
 6   4|         was in order to seek this King that they had set off on
 7   4|         they wanted to serve this King, to fall prostrate at his
 8   5|         child anywhere but in the King's palace. Yet now they were
 9   5|           realize that Herod, the King they had consulted, intended
10   6|                           The new King, to whom they now paid homage,
11   6|    recognized him as the promised King. But they still had to assimilate
12  10| themselves at the service of this King, to model their own kingship
13  10|        myrrh - gifts offered to a King held to be divine. Adoration
14  10|      recognize the child as their King and to place their own power
15  12|      would be sufficient for this King. Now they have to learn
16  13|       path marked out by the true King, as they follow Jesus. ~
