 1 Colonial|       colony as did many colonial powers in the past, not only to
 2 Geopolit|          crossroads for the Great Powers - the Great Powers of the
 3 Geopolit|          Great Powers - the Great Powers of the West as well as the
 4 Geopolit|         West as well as the Great Powers of the Orient. It is also
 5 Geopolit|        storm created by the Great Powers and, more often then not,
 6 Geopolit|        been regarded by the Great Powers as a people capable of playing
 7 Geopolit|          three great geopolitical powers - the Ottoman Empire, the
 8 Geopolit| historical functions by the Great Powers of Europe: sometimes religious,
 9 Geopolit|         from another of the Great Powers, Russia. But the Albanians
10 Geopolit|       play the game for the Great Powers in the Eastern Crisis, but
11 Geopolit|           importantly, these same powers sacrificed Albanian interests
12 Geopolit|       assistance from the Western powers for a just solution to their
13 Geopolit|          But in vain. None of the Powers showed any such willingness.
14 Geopolit|          Albania, and the Western Powers did not even consider it
15 Geopolit|     Second World War, the Western Powers, England and the United
16 Geopolit|         without the assistance of powers from outside the Balkans.
