Dialogue

 1 Charm|          inferential; that is to say, the members of a sentence
 2 Charm|          things only,—that is to say, of natural objects: these
 3 Charm|          similar spirit we might say to a young man who is disturbed
 4 Charm|        cure the headache. I dare say that you have heard eminent
 5 Charm|         heard eminent physicians say to a patient who comes to
 6 Charm|     treated; and then again they say that to think of curing
 7 Charm|   observe that this is what they say?~Yes, he said.~And they
 8 Charm|          charm; and this, as you say, is temperance?~Yes, I said.~
 9 Charm|          strange thing for me to say of myself, and also I should
10 Charm|          on the other hand, if I say that I am, I shall have
11 Charm|         will not be compelled to say what you do not like; neither
12 Charm|       appears to me to be as you say.~And the inference is that
