1 Euthyd|      quite another sort.~‘You want Cleinias to be wise?’ ‘Yes.’ ‘
2 Euthyd|    wise yet?’ ‘No.’ ‘Then you want him to be what he is not,
3 Euthyd|     sons as a bait; they will want to have them as pupils,
4 Euthyd|  every unvirtuous person will want to learn. I shall be the
5 Euthyd|       of you who say that you want this young man to become
6 Euthyd|      friends they must be who want their favourite not to be,
7 Euthyd|        the knowledge which we want is one that uses as well
8 Euthyd| agreed.~And clearly we do not want the art of the flute-maker;
9 Euthyd|    give them money; no age or want of capacity is an impediment.
