 1 Euthyf| Euthyphro too is plaintiff in an action for murder, which he has
 2 Euthyf|         to another, and the same action may be both pious and impious;
 3 Euthyf|         his way to bring such an action.~EUTHYPHRO: Indeed, Socrates,
 4 Euthyf|     impious thing in bringing an action against your father?~EUTHYPHRO:
 5 Euthyf|      they? Is not piety in every action always the same? and impiety,
 6 Euthyf|        say that such and such an action is pious, such another impious.~
 7 Euthyf|          ask you to tell me what action is both pious and impious:
 8 Euthyf|           for granting that this action may be hateful to the gods,
 9 Euthyf|    condemn and abominate such an action. But I will amend the definition
10 Euthyf|    meaning is, that any state of action or passion implies previous
11 Euthyf|         passion implies previous action or passion. It does not
12 Euthyf|      about the commission of any action, fears and is afraid of
