1 Euthyf| like the moving figures of Daedalus, the ancestor of Socrates,
2 Euthyf| Republic IV. The figure of Daedalus has occurred in the Meno;
3 Euthyf|   handiwork of my ancestor Daedalus; and if I were the sayer
4 Euthyf| still say that you are the Daedalus who sets arguments in motion;
5 Euthyf|   I must be a greater than Daedalus: for whereas he only made
6 Euthyf|   would give the wisdom of Daedalus, and the wealth of Tantalus,
7 Euthyf| you accuse me of being the Daedalus who makes them walk away,
8 Euthyf|    far greater artist than Daedalus who makes them go round
