 1  Gorg|  abstract notions of better, superior, stronger, he is easily
 2  Gorg|  saying that her own good is superior to that of the rest—How
 3  Gorg|        Then are not the many superior to the one, and the opinions
 4  Gorg|   wrong. And as they are the superior or stronger, this opinion
 5  Gorg|      I not told you that the superior is the better?’ But what
 6  Gorg|       first, you defined the superior to be the stronger, and
 7  Gorg|    an afterthought, when the superior happiness of the just has
 8  Gorg|      justice consists in the superior ruling over and having more
 9  Gorg|   belong to the stronger and superior. And this is true, as you
10  Gorg|     Do you not mean that the superior should take the property
11  Gorg|   the better the same as the superior? for I could not make out
12  Gorg|     whether you meant by the superior the stronger, and that the
13  Gorg|      right, because they are superior and stronger, as though
14  Gorg|      stronger, as though the superior and stronger and better
15  Gorg| inferior and weaker, and the superior the worse, or whether better
16  Gorg|   defined in the same way as superior:—this is the point which
17  Gorg|     have cleared up. Are the superior and better and stronger
18  Gorg|  Then the many are by nature superior to the one, against whom,
19  Gorg|     many are the laws of the superior?~CALLICLES: Very true.~SOCRATES:
20  Gorg|  laws of the better; for the superior class are far better, as
21  Gorg| SOCRATES: And since they are superior, the laws which are made
