 1  Gorg| Socrates replies that he has no wish to put any one to death;
 2  Gorg|         language, if you do not wish to drive me away. ‘I mean
 3  Gorg|    giving laws to the dead.’~My wish for myself and my fellow-men
 4  Gorg|    action. And we may sometimes wish that we could have suggested
 5  Gorg|       what we will, but what we wish.~Socrates would teach us
 6  Gorg|       what we will, but what we wish. All actions of which the
 7  Gorg|         be.’~SOCRATES: I should wish to do so.~GORGIAS: Then
 8  Gorg|         many too, who have this wish, but they would be too modest
 9  Gorg|          By heavens, Gorgias, I wish that you would reveal to
10  Gorg|   experience.~POLUS: In what? I wish that you would explain to
11  Gorg|       POLUS: Then you would not wish to be a tyrant?~SOCRATES:
12  Gorg|       be the more courageous: I wish, my good friend, that you
13  Gorg|      the pleasant?~CALLICLES: I wish I knew, Socrates, what your
14  Gorg|      the other, which is good—I wish that you would tell me whether
15  Gorg|        good and evil. And now I wish that you would tell me whether
16  Gorg| understand you, Socrates, and I wish that you would ask some
17  Gorg| tyrannical you are, Socrates! I wish that you and your argument
18  Gorg|         appears to me to be the wish of the rest of the company;
19  Gorg|    every man in the city, but I wish that you would hear me too.
