 1  Gorg|      lessons which they have learned from him.~Socrates would
 2  Gorg|     rhetoric. But he who has learned carpentry is a carpenter,
 3  Gorg|    carpenter, and he who has learned music is a musician, and
 4  Gorg|     musician, and he who has learned justice is just. The rhetorician
 5  Gorg|  Gorgias and Polus, although learned men, were too modest, and
 6  Gorg|      such a thing as ‘having learned’?~GORGIAS: Yes.~SOCRATES:
 7  Gorg| SOCRATES: And is the ‘having learned’ the same as ‘having believed,’
 8  Gorg|       And yet those who have learned as well as those who have
 9  Gorg|   great comfort?—not to have learned the other arts, but the
10  Gorg|  Well, and is not he who has learned carpentering a carpenter?~
11  Gorg|     SOCRATES: And he who has learned music a musician?~GORGIAS:
12  Gorg|     SOCRATES: And he who has learned medicine is a physician,
13  Gorg|      like manner? He who has learned anything whatever is that
