Dialogue

 1  Gorg|     digressions have the greater interest. Yet in the most irregular
 2  Gorg|    expresses a keen intellectual interest in the argument. Like Anytus,
 3  Gorg|         they were not tempted by interest or passion, would agree
 4  Gorg|          by a pecuniary or party interest in certain tenets. There
 5  Gorg|       they must begin to take an interest in the great questions which
 6  Gorg| provision for the soul’s highest interest; that it should be pursued
 7  Gorg|      assure you that I have your interest in view as well as my own.
 8  Gorg|         themselves, not from any interest in the question at issue.
 9  Gorg|       rather, if you have a real interest in the argument, or, to
10  Gorg|   because they have not the same interest in me which you have; and
11  Gorg| provision for the soul’s highest interest— others despising the interest,
12  Gorg|   interest— others despising the interest, and, as in the previous
13  Gorg|         the thought of their own interest, playing with the people
14  Gorg|          whether this is for the interest of either of us;—I would
15  Gorg|          and with a view to your interest, my judges, and to nothing
