Dialogue

 1 Lache|     Nicias and Laches are quite willing to give their opinion; but
 2 Lache|    process; and Laches is quite willing to learn from Socrates,
 3 Lache|       endurance. Laches is very willing, and is quite sure that
 4 Lache|         the thoughtful general, willing to avail himself of any
 5 Lache|       but you would not be very willing to trust them if they only
 6 Lache|         for my part, I am quite willing to discourse with Socrates
 7 Lache|         only.’ Socrates must be willing to allow that he is a good
 8 Lache|       are said not to have been willing to stand and fight, and
 9 Lache|      who endures in war, and is willing to fight, and wisely calculates
10 Lache|         alarmed; for I am quite willing to say of you and also of
11 Lache|     quite agree, if Socrates is willing to take them under his charge.
