Dialogue

 1 Lysis|       philosopher or lover of wisdom stands: he is not wise,
 2 Lysis|     to him, and he yearns for wisdom as the cure of the evil. (
 3 Lysis|        who are our fathers in wisdom,’ and yet only tell us half
 4 Lysis|   when they see that you have wisdom enough to manage them?~Yes.~
 5 Lysis|      have not yet attained to wisdom.~True.~And therefore you
 6 Lysis|    return of love; no, nor of wisdom, unless wisdom loves them
 7 Lysis|     no, nor of wisdom, unless wisdom loves them in return. Or
 8 Lysis|    the fathers and authors of wisdom, and they speak of friends
 9 Lysis|       are no longer lovers of wisdom; nor can they be lovers
10 Lysis|     nor can they be lovers of wisdom who are ignorant to the
11 Lysis| ignorant person is a lover of wisdom. There remain those who
12 Lysis|   those who are the lovers of wisdom are as yet neither good
13 Lysis|       But the bad do not love wisdom any more than the good;
