Dialogue

 1  Meno|    have a place in the mind of God, or in some far-off heaven.
 2  Meno|       or spirits by whose help God made the world. And the
 3  Meno|    existing in nature of which God is the author. Of the latter
 4  Meno|       conception of a personal God, who works according to
 5  Meno|        is not the existence of God or the idea of good which
 6  Meno|       one or two. The being of God in a personal or impersonal
 7  Meno|       am;’ and this thought is God thinking in me, who has
 8  Meno|        imparted to him because God is true (compare Republic).
 9  Meno|       like Plato, insists that God is true and incapable of
10  Meno|      with the idea of Being or God. The greatness of both philosophies
11  Meno|        expressions under which God or substance is unfolded
12  Meno|      of the human mind towards God and nature; they remain
13  Meno| knowledge, whether relating to God or man or nature, will become
14  Meno|      inspired and possessed of God, in which condition they
15  Meno|       but an instinct given by God to the virtuous. Nor is
16  Meno|        virtuous by the gift of God. But we shall never know
