 3 Parme| Revelation.’ ‘Then how do you know what is Revelation, or that
 4 Parme|      immediate rejoinder—‘You know nothing of things in themselves.’ ‘
 5 Parme| themselves.’ ‘Then how do you know that there are things in
 6 Parme|      I am to run, and which I know so well. But as I must attempt
 7 Parme|       that they instinctively know Him. But they hardly suspect
 8 Parme|  meaning of words; because we know that the powers of language
 9 Parme|     dependent on the past. We know that the words ‘cause’ and ‘
10 Parme|       far from saying that we know nothing of Him, because
11 Parme|      Him, because all that we know is subject to the conditions
12 Parme|     men. But I should like to know whether you mean that there
13 Parme|    rule us, nor his knowledge know us, or any human thing;
14 Parme|       gods, nor our knowledge know anything which is divine,
15 Parme|      masters, neither do they know the things of men.~Yet,
16 Parme|     other than all others; we know what he means—do we not?~
