 1 Phaedo|     desirous of explaining how opposite ideas may appear to co-exist
 2 Phaedo| Socrates, was affirmed, not of opposite ideas either in us or in
 3 Phaedo|        earth; Acheron takes an opposite direction, and after flowing
 4 Phaedo|     might be thought to be the opposite of it; for they are never
 5 Phaedo|      on, from one to the other opposite, and back again; where there
 6 Phaedo|      Well, and is there not an opposite of life, as sleep is the
 7 Phaedo|       of life, as sleep is the opposite of waking?~True, he said.~
