Dialogue

 1 Phaedo|       the soul, which in her own pure thought is unchangeable,
 2 Phaedo|          philosopher who departs pure is permitted to enter the
 3 Phaedo|         to her own place, as the pure soul is also carried away
 4 Phaedo|        at last obtain mercy. The pure souls also receive their
 5 Phaedo|         and divine, attained the pure abstraction; and this, like
 6 Phaedo| experience that if we would have pure knowledge of anything we
 7 Phaedo|       body, the soul cannot have pure knowledge, one of two things
 8 Phaedo|       nature, but keep ourselves pure until the hour when God
 9 Phaedo|          of the body we shall be pure and hold converse with the
10 Phaedo|       and hold converse with the pure, and know of ourselves the
11 Phaedo|        permitted to approach the pure. These are the sort of words,
12 Phaedo|       like her is invisible, and pure, and noble, and on her way
13 Phaedo|           that the soul which is pure at departing and draws after
14 Phaedo|          such a soul will depart pure and unalloyed?~Impossible,
15 Phaedo|          which have not departed pure, but are cloyed with sight
16 Phaedo|          and who is not entirely pure at the time of his departure
17 Phaedo|     trust in herself and her own pure apprehension of pure existence,
18 Phaedo|         own pure apprehension of pure existence, and to mistrust
19 Phaedo|         is not likely ever to be pure at her departure to the
20 Phaedo|      communion of the divine and pure and simple.~Most true, Socrates,
21 Phaedo|     fitting habitation; as every pure and just soul which has
22 Phaedo|   collect. But the true earth is pure and situated in the pure
23 Phaedo|         pure and situated in the pure heaven—there are the stars
24 Phaedo|         reason is, that they are pure, and not, like our precious
