Dialogue

 1 Phaedo|   going to other gods who are wise and good, and perhaps to
 2 Phaedo|       her way to the good and wise God! She has been gathered
 3 Phaedo|       the course of ages. The wise soul is conscious of her
 4 Phaedo|      to think of the good and wise only as existing in another
 5 Phaedo|        If there is a good and wise God, then there is a progress
 6 Phaedo|     then there is no good and wise God. We cannot suppose that
 7 Phaedo|      the soul of the good and wise. (Compare Republic.) Such
 8 Phaedo|      come after me if he be a wise man, and not tarry; and
 9 Phaedo|     reasonable; for surely no wise man thinks that when set
10 Phaedo|      in his running away. The wise man will want to be ever
11 Phaedo|        for upon this view the wise man should sorrow and the
12 Phaedo|     be the meaning of a truly wise man wanting to fly away
13 Phaedo|   going to other gods who are wise and good (of which I am
14 Phaedo|       her way to the good and wise God, whither, if God will,
15 Phaedo|      soul, and especially the wise soul? Do you know of any?~
16 Phaedo| nothing of any other of those wise causes which are alleged;
17 Phaedo|       ways meet on earth. The wise and orderly soul follows
