1 Phaedo|    Simmias and Cebes remain in doubt; but they are unwilling
2 Phaedo|      until at last he began to doubt the self-evident fact that
3 Phaedo|     the idea of mind; the same doubt whether the soul is to be
4 Phaedo| Clearly to the seen—no one can doubt that.~And is the soul seen
5 Phaedo|     the mortal—there can be no doubt of that, Socrates.~Then
6 Phaedo|      Yes, said Cebes, beyond a doubt.~But the soul which has
7 Phaedo|        but if you are still in doubt do not hesitate to say exactly
8 Phaedo|       can I see any reason for doubt after what has been said.
