 1 Phaedr|       As wolves love lambs so lovers love their loves.’ (Compare
 2 Phaedr| nature. Now the characters of lovers depend upon the god whom
 3 Phaedr|   wings and fly away, and the lovers have the same wings.~Socrates
 4 Phaedr|      I am not your lover: for lovers repent of the kindnesses
 5 Phaedr|     own interest. Then again, lovers consider how by reason of
 6 Phaedr|     many more non-lovers than lovers; and if you choose the best
 7 Phaedr|    you choose the best of the lovers, you will not have many
 8 Phaedr|  friendship with others. Many lovers too have loved the person
 9 Phaedr|     advise you to indulge all lovers, for the indiscriminate
10 Phaedr|     fair and had a great many lovers; and there was one special
11 Phaedr|       As wolves love lambs so lovers love their loves.’~But I
12 Phaedr|   tell of the petty causes of lovers’ jealousies, and of their
13 Phaedr|      At any rate the loves of lovers and their causes are such
14 Phaedr|     of them; of Erato for the lovers, and of the other Muses
