 1 Phileb|        have equally denied the claim of either to true existence.
 2 Phileb|     mind may both renounce the claim to the first place. But
 3 Phileb|      have no antecedent pains, claim a place in the scale of
 4 Phileb|       principles which equally claim to lie at the foundation
 5 Phileb|       philosophy can no longer claim ‘the prize,’ we must not
 6 Phileb|     conclusively disproves the claim of utility to be the basis
 7 Phileb|        philosophy; the natural claim of dialectic to be the Queen
 8 Phileb| However, I will not at present claim the first place for mind
 9 Phileb|      putting forward a similar claim. And if pleasure were deprived
10 Phileb|      than either, then I would claim the second place for mind
